The short version
This site does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. It does not run trackers, does not build a profile of you, and does not sell or share personal information. There are no accounts to create and no forms that collect your data.
Information the site involves
Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel. Like virtually all web hosts, Vercel automatically records standard technical request data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and to operate the service. This is handled by the host under its own privacy policy, and is not used by this site to identify you.
Local storage. If you dismiss an announcement banner, the site records that choice in your browser's local storage so the banner stays closed on your next visit. This information stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Cookies. The site sets no cookies.
Content from other services
The Media page displays video thumbnail images loaded from YouTube (Google). When those images load, your browser contacts Google's servers, which may receive your IP address; this is governed by Google's privacy policy. The site also links out to external resources such as journals, PubMed, and YouTube. Once you follow a link to another site, that site's own privacy practices apply.
Fonts
Web fonts are served directly from this site, not from a third-party font service, so loading the site does not share your data with an outside font provider.
Changes to this notice
If the site later adds something that handles data differently — for example, privacy-friendly analytics or a contact form — this notice will be updated to describe it.
